London: Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) today released 'Lord's & MCC: 2014 Cricket Review', a look back at the highlights of the Club's cricketing activities at home and overseas in the Lord's Bicentenary year.

The film features summaries of all major matches at Lord's throughout 2014 including England's Investec Test matches against India and Sri Lanka as well as the Royal London One-day International against Sri Lanka, which featured Jos Buttler's memorable century.

The numerous Lord's Bicentenary celebrations also feature, including both men's and women's MCC v Rest of the World matches, as well as the Anniversary Day fixture between MCC and Hertfordshire, in which West Indies legend Brian Lara played for the hosts.

There are highlights from a number of other matches played at the Home of Cricket this year, including the Inter Services T20 tournament, MCC v Hong Kong CC and the Davidstow National Village Cup Final.

The film contains numerous other special moments from 2014 including tours to Botswana, Finland and Japan as well as Sir Ian Botham's MCC Spirit of Cricket Cowdrey Lecture.

Former MCC President Mike Gatting leads the contributions from those involved with Lord's and MCC in 2014, discussing everything from his role in the Club's growing community engagement program to managing the first ever MCC Women's tour to China.

Other contributors include Middlesex Managing Director of Cricket Angus Fraser, England's newest star Gary Ballance and India batsman Ajinkya Rahane, who got his name on the famous Lord's Honours Board with a century earlier in the year.

The film is now live on the Lord's YouTube Channel.

MCC Chief Executive Derek Brewer said: "It was a memorable season for MCC and Lord's, and I'm delighted that this film captures everything the Club has done to celebrate the Bicentenary of this great Ground, as well as all our work promoting the Spirit of Cricket overseas, and our ever-growing program of work within our local community. I hope MCC members and viewers of the Lord's YouTube Channel enjoy this excellent film."

MCC has also launched its first ever digital Advent Calendar today via the Lord's YouTube Channel.

Each day, the Calendar will reveal a classic moment from 200 years at the Home of Cricket, as it says farewell to a special Bicentenary year.

Ranging from historic images rescued from the MCC Archives to some of the moments which made the headlines during this special year, the calendar will keep cricket fans entertained right up to the night before Christmas.
