Ranchi: Team India skipper and Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni on Wednesday night invited his team players to a sumptuous dinner at his home here.
The dinner that started at around 8 pm ended by midnight. Dhoni's entire family was present to play the role of gracious hosts.
Hundreds of cricket fans crowded near Dhoni's residence to have a glimpse of their favourite players.
Special chefs were called to Dhoni's residence to prepare the dishes, mostly 'desi' but also included continental and inter-continental cuisine.
Bihar special 'litty' and Jharkhand special 'dhuska' were also served, with chilly chicken up for grabs.
The players had a round of Dhoni's exquisite residence, built on the designs of Brian Lara's home.
The fans stayed outside his home till 1 am.
