Indian allrounder Ravindra Jadeja took a splendid catch to dismiss Australia’s vice-captain David Warner during the third cricket Test between India and Australia at the JSCA International Stadium here on Thursday.
Jadeja, a left-arm spinner, delivered a high full toss delivery and Warner some way or the other figured out how to hit the ball straight down the wicket towards the umpire. However, Jadeja proved too quick for him and grabbed the reflex catch in the air.
Meanwhile at Tea, Australia were placed at 194/4. Apart from Warner gifting his wicket, skipper Steven Smith led the way with a half-century.
Smith was batting on 80 runs with Glenn Maxwell on 19 at the other end when the teams came in for the tea break.
