West Indian cricketers share a great rapport with the Indian players both on and off the field. The cricketers from both the countries have played with and against each other many-a-times in the lucrative Indian Premier League and have developed an integral bond of friendship which reflects whenever they meet.

Team India is currently on a tour to the Caribbean islands where they are scheduled to play five ODIs and one-off T20 international. After rain played spoilsport in the first one-dayer, the visiting team put up a dominant show in the second ODI against West Indies to record a commanding 105-run victory. India now lead the series 1-0.

Star West Indian all-rounder Dwayne Bravo, who is known to share a great camaraderie with all the members of the Indian team, has once again proved his liking for the men in blue. The Trinidadian star, who is not part of the West Indies team led by Jason Holder, played host to his close friends in Team India at his home for dinner. His esteemed guest list included the likes of former skipper MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan and Bhuvneshwar Kumar

Sharing a picture from that night, DJ Bravo expressed his fondness towards his former IPL team-mate and skipper MS Dhoni. “It was great to have my brother from another Mother at my house last night along with his beautiful daughter and my mom #champion #djbravo #Family @mahi7781”.

The 33-year old all-rounder played under Dhoni’s captaincy for five years in the now suspended Chennai Super Kings franchise. He has also termed Dhoni as one of the best captains in the world.

ICC Champions Trophy’s highest run-getter and India’s prolific opener Shikhar Dhawan also shared a photo on his official Twitter handle of him with captain Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane and the dynamic host - Bravo.

Earlier, BCCI had posted a picture on their Twitter handle of the Bravo brothers (Dwayne and Darren) visiting the Indian team's practice session ahead of the first ODI in Trinidad.

Due to continuous differences with West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) over the payment related issues, Dwayne Bravo has not featured in the national outfit. He last represented his country in a T20I against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi in 2016.
