New Delhi: For the first time in the history of the BJP, three big names Atal Bihari Vajpayee, L K Advani and M M Joshi will not be part of the party's Parliamentary Board.


BJP President Amit Shah today reconstituted party's Parliamentary Board. While most of the contemporary leaders of the party have been included in the new Parliamentary Board, three Veterans of the party – Atal Bihari Vajpayee, L K Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi have been dropped.

Vajpayee, Advani and Joshi, however, will now be part of the ‘Margadarshak Mandal' that will be offering valuable suggestions to the party but will have no authority to interfere in party working. Narendra Modi and Rajnath Singh will also be the part of the Margadarshak Mandal.

Amit Shah will be the President of the new Parliamentary Board. Narendra Modi, Rajnath Singh, Arun Jaitely,  Sushma Swaraj, Nitin Gadkari,  Ananth Kumar, Venkaiah Naidu, Thawar Chand Gehlot, Shivraj Singh Chauhan,  Jagat Prakash Nadda and Ramlal will be other members of the Parliamentary Board.
