Chennai, Jan 18: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi Thursday termed the Congress-led UPA government steeped in corruption and said it would be voted out by the people in the next elections.

Addressing the BJP cadres at the airport here, Modi, who is on a private visit to attend a wedding function here, said the central government is not delivering on development agenda.

He said the people are dejected by the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government and will vote it out in the next parliamentary elections.

Modi said the Gujarat people voted him back to power in the recent elections as he had delivered on development plans, adding if he had failed in delivery, the people would have voted him out.
