New Delhi: Investigation agencies have failed to arrest the perpetrators or identity groups behind three out of four terror attacks in the country in 2014 and 2015, Lok Sabha was informed today.

The data on terror attacks in the hinterland of the country given by Minister of State for Home Affairs Haribhai Parathibhai Chaudhary shows three such attacks in 2014 and one in 2015, in which a total of 11 people were killed.

The data says bomb blast in Burdwan on October 2, 2014 is the handiwork of Jammat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh in which seven arrests were made by the NIA.

The perpetrators of the remaining three—IED explosion at Chennai Central Railway Station on May 1, 2014 probed by CB CID Tamil Nadu, IED blast in Bengaluru on December 28, 2014 probed by NIA and terror attack in Gurdaspur on July 27, 2015 probed by Punjab Police remain unidentified with no arrest being made, the data shows.

It shows two terror attacks took place in 2012, four in 2013 in which 51 arrests have been made.
