New Delhi: Congress president Sonia Gandhi is the third woman leader in the list of the world's most powerful people released by Forbes magazine on Wednesday. Ahead of her are German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff.

Sonia Gandhi was ranked 21st among the world's most powerful people. The list includes 72 politicians, heads of state  and business leaders.
