New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party leader and former councillor Rohtas Kumar  has been accused  of  manhandling Mr P.K. Bansal who is the branch manager of the State Bank of India in Northeast Delhi.

The whole incident has been recorded in the CCTV of the bank. The confrontation took place reportedly on 03rd October. Mr Bansal was in his office when Mr Kumar along with a lady came to his office and started misbehaving with him.

The police recorded the statement of Mr Bansal in which he alleged that Mr Rohtas had threatened him with dire consequences. When asked about  the whole matter it was found out that the bank  is housed in a building owned by Mr Rohtas Kumar .

The bank pays a rent of  Rs 70,000 per month. However, the building is in a decrepit condition and the bank had decided to shift the branch from its existing location.

This decision had infuriated Mr Rohtas and led to  an argument between the two. The cops said that they were still looking into the matter.

Mr Rohtas also called his supporters and created a nuisance within the bank premises.

The police recorded the statement of Mr Bansal  “All this has been captured on the CCTV footage of the bank. The police has been going through it,” said the police source.
