Haridwar, Sep 19: Bharat Swabhiman Manch chief Swami Ramdev today hailed Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee for what he called her "courageous stand" in pulling out of the UPA government on the issue of fuel price hike and FDI in retail.
Ramdev told newspersons here that Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav and DMK supremo Karunanidhi should also come out against the government's so-called economic reforms.
"Karunaji should show no karuna (mercy)", said the yoga guru. "Now the allies don't want to a part of the sins of Congress Party", he added.
"Mamataji has set an example for other UPA allies. Mulayamji should also be strict", said Ramdev.
Describing Congress as a "sinking ship", Ramdev alleged that the party has plundered the nation and was unwilling to bring back black money stashed offshore.
