Srinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today announced Rs 80,000 crore package for Jammu and Kashmir.
He made this announcement while addressing a rally in Srinagar in presence of CM Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
The Prime Minister also said that he wanted to make Kashmir a dream destination for tourists.
He said that in the past, when people had some money, they wanted to visit Kashmir. He added that he wanted to bring those days back.

During the day-long visit, he will inaugurate the 450 MW Baglihar Hydro Electric Project Stage-II, and lay the foundation stone for the four-laning of the Udhampur-Ramban and Ramban-Banihal section of National Highway 44, at a function in Chanderkote, Ramban.
