Ranchi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today exhorted the people of Jharkhand to give a strong mandate to the BJP in state assembly polls if they want to see a strong Jharkhand.
Addressing an election rally in Ranchi Narendra Modi said, “Had you not given us a complete mandate at centre then we could have formed a government but not a strong one. When the government is weak, then the public gets even weaker and has to endure the pain. That is why the people of Jharkhand have to take a major decision. You have to give a strong government to your state. You Don't Want A Weak One…you don't want a government that is unstable.”
“If you make a make strong BJP government, I assure you we will make a strong Jharkhand. I promise to free Jharkhand from poverty,” added Modi

Congress has not learnt any lesson even after complete rejection, says Narendra Modi in Jamshedpur
Jamshedpur: Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lambasted Congress party for spreading lies about his government and said that the party has not learnt any lessons even after they were completely rejected by people in Lok Sabha elections.
Addressing an election rally in Jamshedpur, Modi said,” the people of this country have rejected dynastic politics. Just imagine, you have punished them so severely that they couldn't even get the post of Leader of Opposition. Yet they haven't learned any lesson. They are talking in the same tone.This is because they feel that they are born to govern.”
Modi promised to the people of Jharkhand that if BJP is voted to power then the face of Jharkhand will change within 5 years. He also said that his government has framed policies that will not allow anyone to loot coal anymore.
"Give BJP a clear mandate and I assure you that change will come within five years. If there is no coal or iron ore in jharkhand, will it not hamper lives of the people of the state? The government has now formulated schemes so that Jharkhand could benefit. Coal alone can brighten Jharkhand and the entire nation. But governments of the past have misused natural resources. Jharkhand kept getting poorer, its youth left their homeland and went from state to state in search of employment. Jharkhand has now been left behind.
"The policies that we have framed will not allow anyone to loot coal anymore. Jharkhand has now been left behind.You have the strength to provide employment to all the youth of the nation. You are most powerful," said Modi.
Comparing Jharkhand with a youth of 14 yerars of age, Modi reminded people that in this age, parents have to be careful about their kids. He reminded them that the state will suffer if the reins are passed on to wrong people.
"Almost 15 years have passed since Jharkhand was formed by Atalji. Now when a baby is born in the family, till the age of 13-14, their growth is slow. But after the age of 13, they start growing rapidly. Their voices change, children start changing. And the period between the age of 13 to 18, is very crucial for the child. Smart parents take keen interest in their child at this stage. When children are given proper care at this stage they move on in their life smoothly and for good. And if you don't take care, your children might go astray. This concept applies to the state too. If you hand Jharkhand over into wrong hands then, you will suffer," said Modi.
