New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is addressed an election rally in Rohini as a part of his ongoing campaign for the Delhi Assembly polls, slated for February 7.

The rally had been organized at the Japanese Park. It was Modi's third public rally in the poll-bound capital. Ahead of 2013 assembly polls, Modi had addressed his first rally at this venue.

Here we are providing you live updates of PM Modi's speech:

04:33 pm: Modi concludes his speech with chants of Bharat Mata Ki Jai.

04:31 pm: Modi: Please give Delhi a complete mandate. Vote for a strong government so that even I can devote my time for the National Capital. I want to make this Capital above all other capitals in the world. So please vote for the BJP. Support us on the 7th of this month and we will support you for the rest of the years.

04:29 pm: Modi: Please don't tell me tales of poverty. I have seen poverty since childhood, so don't teach me. Delhi please beware of such people who try to tell you what poverty is.

04:26 pm: Delhi's identity is through generators. We have to change this generator capital into power generation capital

04:25 pm: Modi: It is my fortune to undertake difficult task. Every Indian must get a house of their own. By 2022, in India all the poor will have his/her own house.

04:23 pm: Modi: Unauthorized colonies: Don't people who stay in those colonies deserve to live. Don't they deserve to educate their children? We have decided to authorise all such colonies. We won't stop there. We will work towards giving them a better livelihood. This issue has been pending for years so that politicians could garner votes. We ended this game.

04:20 pm: Modi: Shouldn't poor get a proper livelihood? How will they get that without land? I have promised land to our poor people.

04:17 pm: Modi: We have reached here out of people's faith. You have seen my work over the past eight months. With your blessing I have been moving forward. Some people criticize us for bringing in Ordinance. Is it wrong to protect E-rickshaw pullers? If to provide them security we have introduced Ordinance, is it a crime? Those who oppose the Ordinance are your people (aap ke log).

04:14 pm: Rajiv Gandhi suffered more than Indira Gandhi because he called himself Mr Clean. Hawala in midnight...we have not heard of that. You have betrayed people. Can you run on the basis of lies? Cleverness cannot last long. No one can be spared for wrong doing.

04:11 pm: Modi: Don't forget those who have back-stabbed you. Those people who ruined you for a year said all sorts of things about the BJP and Congress. They called us thieves and plunderers. But now we know what hypocrites they are. (haathi ke dant dikhane ke aur aur khaane ke aur). I doubt the character of those who support these people. They said they are metro-using people. When people asked why you used Chartered plane, they said we didn't ask, we were given. Those who carried names of people who have accounts in Swiss banks in their pockets - don't know about fake companies donating money to them. Can Delhi function on the basis of such lie & fraud?

04:08 pm: Modi: What happened to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel? He was tormented by other political outfits. Then came Lal Bahadur Shastri -he too was mocked for this height and clothing. Morarji Desai's governement was successful in curbing price-hike. But he was humiliated. So if this happens with me too I won't be surprised. I assure you I will not let your faith in me drown.

04:06 pm: Modi: Today cylinders costs Rs 605, last year the cost was over Rs 1200.

04:05 pm: Modi: Our opponents have got nothing much to say. Even media doesn't give much attention to the mother-son-duo. This is what happens when public displays its anger.

04:03 pm: Modi: That is why I have come to you today. For 15 years Congress has been ruining you. Since it was an old party, it bullied you in a larger way. Then came the other temporary party- They were new, inexperienced. They couldn't ruin you for long, for them a year was sufficient. We need to rectify the damage caused to Delhi over 16 years.

04:00 pm: Modi: Delhi has given me hope and strength. Today when the entire world looks at India, its eyes first set on Delhi. But Delhi has not yet got what it should have got. It needs an atmosphere that other Capitals of the world have. It needs an atmosphere of development. I feel the responsibility lies on me to give Delhi what it deserves. Your dreams are my dreams. We will take the nation's Capital to new heights.

03:50 pm: Modi: I want to express my sincerest gratitude to the people of Delhi. When Lok Sabha Eelctions were on...we could constantly hear voices shouting who knows Modi outside Gujarat. But it was Delhi who showered so much love upon me and accepted me. It is now my responsibility to return that love. I want to assure you that I will return your love through development.

03:57 pm: Modi begins his speech

03:54 pm: Modi reaches the stage, will address the rally shortly.

03:40 pm: The crowd bursts into cheers the moment Modi's helicopter lands at Japanese Park

Elaborate security has been put in place to ensure no untoward incident takes place during the event as a massive crowd is attending Modi's public gathering.

Modi has already addressed two election rallies in Delhi at two different places -- first at the CBD grounds near Karkardooma on January 31and second in Dwarka on February 1. On January 10, the Prime Minister had addressed a rally at Ramlila Maidan to kick-start the BJP's election campaign.

BJP's chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi is also likely to share dais with Modi at today's event.

Modi's fourth and last public meeting is scheduled for tomorrow in South Delhi.

Campaigning in Delhi will conclude on February 5 with single-phase polling slated for February 7 and counting of votes on February 10.
