Motihari (Bihar): Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi today exhorted the people of Bihar to elect a strong government in Delhi so that he could offer them a strong India.
Addressing an impressive rally at Motihari in Bihar, Modi said, “ Tell me what kind of government do you want in Delhi? Do you want a weak government? If not then give me a strong government at centre. I promise to give you a strong India.”
Attacking his opponents for practicing ‘politics of untouchability', Modi reminded the audience how a Congress leader asked for withdrawing ‘Bharat Ratna' conferred on Lata Mangeshkar just because she opined that it will be better for the country if Modi becomes PM.
“When Lata Mangeshkar said that it will be better if Modi becomes PM, a Congress leader demanded that the ‘Bharat Ratna' conferred on her should be withdrawn. There is no place for ‘politics of hatred' in our nation,” said Modi.
