New Delhi: All options are open for BJP in Jammu and Kashmir and a threadbare discussion on all issues related to the government formation will take place during a meeting of Parliamentary Board scheduled for tomorrow, Union Minister Jitendra Singh said here today.

Singh, a Lok Sabha MP from Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur constituency, said BJP is committed to ensuring equitable development of all the three regions of the state without discrimination and also to undo the mistakes and grievances of the past.

Regarding the future course of action, he said as stated by the party Chief Amit Shah, all the options are open and a threadbare discussion on the issue will take place during the meeting of the BJP Parliamentary Board scheduled for tomorrow, a press release issued by his office said.

Thanking the people of J-K and congratulating the BJP cadre, Singh said his party has assumed a significant role in the new political dispensation of the state which can neither be ignored nor underestimated.

Singh, Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office, said BJP is a party based on sound ideological principles and its core agenda is development with “justice for all and appeasement to none”.

Hailing the outcome in J-K Assembly polls, he said that the emergence of BJP as a force to reckon with in the state vindicates the ‘martyrdom' of the organisation's founding father Syama Prasad Mookerjee.

Over sixty years ago, Singh recalled, Mookerjee had made a commitment on the soil of J-K and in the pursuit of his mission, laid down his life in a Kashmir prison. “It is a strange turn of providence that the task of vindicating Mookerjee's sacrifice was to be performed by the present generation of BJP's ‘karyakartas' for which all of us feel proud and are also conscious of the huge responsibility entrusted on us,” he said.
