New Delhi: With Delhi election fever soaring higher with every passing day, the BJP will today organize

90 street meetings in the national capital. Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti whose controversial remarks had created uproar in parliament will once again address gatherings today.

It should be recalled that BJP had asked Sadhvi to cancel a couple of her appearances in such meetings in the aftermath of ruckus in parliament over her remarks.

Apart from the controversial Sadhvi, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Maneka Gandhi, Najma Hepatullah, Satyanarain Jatia and Thawar Chand Gehlot are other top leaders who would address the nukkad jansabhas.

These meeting will be held in areas of East Delhi's Trilokpuri and New Ashok Nagar.

”This week will see a big show of around 350 BJP's nukkad jansabhas in all corners of Delhi with even senior ministers going to these corner meetings,” Delhi BJP said in a statement. Apart from ministers, actor-turned-MPs Kirron Kher and Paresh Rawal would also take part in these meetings.

The highlight of the event of course would be the fact that Sadhvi Niranjn Jyoti will be addressing these meetings too. The Union Minister's uncouth remarks had left both the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha paralyzed for a week.

Yesterday Parliamentary Affairs minister Venkaiah Naidu issued an appeal to the opposition to let normalcy return but news of the Sadhvi once again addressing public meetings may not be acceptable to the opposition and could therefore further affect parliamentary session.
