Patna, Jul 16 :  Cutting across ideological barriers, political parties in Bihar on Friday slammed MNS chief Raj Thackeray for his reported statement that influx of North Indians was one of the reasons for growing terror attacks in Mumbai.

Senior Congress leader Sadanand Singh flayed Thackeray for his “anti-national” statement, saying all Indians have a right to live in any part of the country.

BJP MLA Vinod Jha also disapproved of the MNS chief's “communal” barb at the North Indians and said that the recent terror attack in Mumbai was a failure of the security and intelligence agencies and did not occur because of the people from any region residing there.

Meanwhile, RJD MLA Raghavendra Pratap Singh urged the Centre to take strong action against Thackeray.  Yesterday, Thackeray had blamed “hordes of migrants” coming to the city for spurt in crime rate and for the increase of terror attacks in the state.

“I trust the Mumbai Police but the influx is so much that there will be intelligence failure and such type of terror attacks would keep happening,” Thackeray had said. PTI
