Lucknow: BSP supremo Mayawati today dared UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav to drop tainted ministers from his cabinet if he believed in clean politics.
Mayawati termed Akhilesh’s decision to revoke SP’s alliance with mafia don Mukhtar Ansari's ‘Quami Ekta Dal’ as nothing but a ‘big drama’and said that people of UP will teach Samajwadi Party (SP) a lesson in upcoming Assembly polls.
“The Samajwadi Party is doing drama over Mukhtar Ansari's party. People are going to teach them a lesson in the coming election. You will see that Samajwadi party will actually help Ansari's party in the coming elections by fielding weak candidates against them,” the BSP chief told media persons here.
She further said that if Akhilesh government was serious over law and order situation in UP then it should send all ministers with criminal records to jail.
“If the UP government is serious about law and order situation in the state, it should send all the ministers with criminals records and other criminals to jail. One day they sack a minister, the other they reinstate him. They are doing this to encash vote banks. But it will not help,” she added.
