New Delhi: Shiv Sena has once again targeted PM Modi on the issue of black money and asked him to disclose how many Indians actually received Rs 15 lakhs in their bank accounts in last two years as he had promised during 2014 election campaign.

In an editorial,  Shiv Sena’s mouthpiece Saamana today said, “ What happened to the promise that was made before the elections to bringing back black money for the nation's development?  In the last two years, how many citizens have received Rs 15 lakh in their bank accounts?”

“The country is undergoing a change. We do not want free tea, we want the promised Rs 15 lakh deposited in our bank accounts,” the editorial added.

In a sign of continuing tense relationship between the alliance partners, Shiv Sena has been constantly targeting both BJP and Prime Minister Modi for some time now.

On Monday, Saamana had condemned the BJP leaders who called for burning of Shiv Sena's mouthpiece and had reminded that those who wanted the daily to be burned were attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ideology.

Taking a pot shot at PM Modi’s “Mann Ki baat”, Saamana editorial demanded that the Maharashtra BJP leaders too should come on Radio and answer crucial questions.

'Mann ki baat' is like hot tea and in a bid to attract listeners, several areas in Mumbai ironically catered free tea. BJP leaders from Mumbai too should come on radio to answer these crucial questions,” the editorial added.

The Saamana editorial further reminded PM Modi that there was no need for him to approach Switzerland or Mauritius to reclaim black money as he can achieve it by unearthing the money circulating within the country.

“Black money is not restricted to business, Bollywood and terrorists outfits. It is prevalent in politics and it is the need of the hour to address this. One does not need to scout Switzerland or Mauritius to reclaim black money. Modi can succeed in his mission if he unearths black money that is circulating within the country,” the editorial said.
