Jallikattu is a sport played by the Tamils during the harvest festival of Pongal. It is the festival in which the participants have to bring the ragging bull under control.
For this mere sport, bulls are chosen which fit best for this purpose. They are then trained weeks before the D day.
Though this fun sport for people has many times taken lives and hurt both bullas and the participants but is still being continued for the sake of tradition.
This cruel handling and taming animal, bothering them for not reason is inhumane.
Spectators climb up the fence to save themselves form the attack of bulls running towards them.
Though the whole scene remains under the scanner of state police and concerned ed authorities but may anyways prove to be dangerous.
