Islamabad: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the patience of his country in dealing with India must not be seen as its weakness.
Duniya News on Wednesday quoted Sharif as saying in Muzaffarabad that the "Indian provocation" vis-a-vis Pakistan was a threat to regional stability.
He said the United Nations was being informed about Indian attacks along the Line of Control (LoC) and international border that divide Jammu and Kashmir between India and Pakistan.
"Our patience on India's ceasefire violations must not be taken as a sign of weakness," he said while inaugurating a newly constructed sports stadium at Bagh in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Sharif said that Pakistan will continue to highlight the issue of Kashmir until it is resolved according to wishes of people of Kashmir.
He said that Pakistan has already taken measures to draw attention of the UN and the international community towards the plight of Kashmiri people.
The Prime Minister said Pakistan was playing a key role in the global war against terrorism and its efforts have been recognised by the world.
