Underworld don and India’s most wanted criminal Dawood Ibrahim is in critical condition in Karachi after he suffered a massive heart attack, according to some media reports.

The reports suggest that Dawood suffered a major paralysis attack a couple of weeks ago at his residence in Clifton road, Karachi.

The right part of Dawood’s body reportedly became non-functional after the paralysis attack.

After that, Pakistan-based doctors performed a surgery on Dawood on April 22 to remove a brain tumour present inside his brain but the operation failed.

Dawood is reported to be now counting his last breath on a ventilator in Combined Military Hospital in Karachi with his second-in-command  Chota Shakeel taking care of the don on his deathbed.

However, Chota Shakeel has reportedly denied all these reports and termed them as mere rumours.

Chota Shakeel told a news channel that Dawood was perfectly fine.

Last year, some media reports had claimed that Dawood was suffering from gangrene in his legs and was being treated for the same at his Karachi residence.

61-year-old Dawood is wanted in India in many cases including the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts that left 257 dead and 717 injured.

Dawood is accused of organising and financing these blasts with the help of his colleagues Tiger Memon and Yakub Memon.

Yakub Menon was hanged to death for his crime in July 2015 while Dawood and Tiger are still absconding.

In 1980s, Dawood Ibrahim had fled to Dubai after the Mumbai Police launched a crackdown on Mumbai’s underworld.

From Dubai, the underworld don moved over to Pakistan under protection of the country's notorious spy agency ISI.
