Teachers Entrance Exam papers leaked, main accused arrested

Bangalore: In a special operation run by Crime branch of Bangalore Police, a 65 year old retired teacher has been arrested for leaking the Teacher entrance exam paper. The police have recovered the question paper for TET and have secured it with them.


The accused named Shivakumar got the question paper from Koppal treasury and was planning to sell for 1 lakh a piece. Apart from the main accused the Crime branch team has also arrested 10 students including 9 boys & 1 girl in the case. Their admit cards were also seized, as per the latest reports.

Notably, a police case was registered in Nandani Layout PS as CR No 139/14 u/s 420, 120b IPC on Sunday. Police precede verification at the Examination Center today at 10 a.m. which confirmed that the paper was leaked.

Following the arrests, now further investigation is being done by the local police.
