Shimla : Himachal Pradesh Food and Civil Supplies Minister G S Bali yesterday said subsidised LPG cylinders to the consumers would be available without any linkage to Aadhaar card and the number of subsidised cylinders would also be increased to 12 from March 10.
Bali said the decision has been communicated to all the dealers and earlier pattern of supply of subsidised LPG cylinders would be restored.
He said the state government had written a letter to Union Petroleum Minister Veerappa Moily on February 22 in this regard and the Ministry issued the necessary orders on February 28 and the state government received a letter from State level Coordinator Oil Industry (Himachal Pradesh) yesterday.
