Bangalore: On Tuesday one of the noted Environmentalist Saalumarada Thimmakka was admitted to a private hospital in the city for the treatment of respiratory tract infection and age-related complications.
“The environmentalist was shifted to Bangalore after her condition did not improve”, said the doctor, who was attending her at Apollo Hospital in Jayanagar. Moreover, the doctor said she would need to stay in hospital for atleast next three days. She has been suffering from asthma for the past several years.
This eminent environmentalist has planted several trees and participated in afforestation programmes and is also a recipient of numerous awards.
