New Delhi, Feb 10: Indraprastha Gas Ltd, the public sector company that supplies piped natural gas to consumers in Delhi National Capital Region has hike the prices of PNG from today .
Nearly 3,70,000 families getting PNG supply in Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad, will now have to pay Rs 1.50 to Rs 4 per cubic metre more.
For consumption upto 30 cubic metres in two months, the price has been hiked by Rs 1.50 to Rs 23.50 per cu.m, while for consumption of more than 30 cu.m, the price has been similarly hiked to Rs 35.50 per cu.m.
The additional outgo for consumers works out like this: if you consume upto 30 units every month, the bill in Delhi will be hiked up from Rs 660 to Rs 705.
PNG prices were last revised in September 2011, says the company.
