New Delhi: Scores of Tibetian students on Thursday demonstrated outside the Hyderabad House in New Delhi to protest Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to India.

Protestor, carrying Tibetan flags, said that Jinping's visit is a chance to find a greater pitch for their ‘Free Tibet' campaign. They also clocked the road.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Jinping are currently hold bi-lateral talks at Hyderabad House.

The police later detained the protestors and cleared the road.

Earlier in the morning, there were reports that protestors gathered outside the Hotel Taj Palace, where Jinping is staying, and raised slogans against the Chinese government.

A police official said that security will remain tight throughout the city as Xi is likely to visit 10 places in the capital during his two-day stay here.

On Wednesday, the protesters had staged demonstrations outside the Chinese embassy in New Delhi's Chanakyapuri diplomatic enclave.

The Chinese President is on three-day visit to India.
