Indian Army Has Great Faith In Democracy, Says Army Chief

Kathmandu, Apr 6: Indian Army has great faith in democracy, Army chief Gen V K Singh was yesterday quoted as saying.

Ramrijhan Yadav, Press Advisor to Nepalese Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai told reporters that Gen Singh had told the host Prime Minister that the “Indian Army is strong and unified and it has displayed unity in diversity.”

“Indian Army has great faith in democracy”, he was quoted as saying by Yadav. Army chief is on three-day Regional Seminar on Natural Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance.
