Hyderabad: Hyderabad, the largest city of Andhra Pradesh has emerged as the most searched city in Google engine in 2013 beating other metros like Mumbai and Bangalore.
The events which made contribution in bringing Hyderabad as the most searched city are following:
1.Dilsukhnagar twin blasts in February that killed 17 people and injured more than 100
2.The Telangana crisis, which reached its peak during July, August and then again in September.
3.The IPL matches held in the city.
4.The questioning of terrorist Yasin Bhatkal by the Hyderabad police and the Volvo bus tragedy in October that killed 45 people.
Hyderabad has always attracted people towards it because of its historical significance and industrialistaion.
With an output of US$74 billion, Hyderabad is the fifth-largest contributor to India's overall gross domestic product.
