New Delhi, Jun 9 : Nearly 20 hoodlums armed with pistol, rods and sticks beat up a youth in East Delhi's Geeta Colony and then fired indiscriminately on Wednesday night injuring two others, police said.
Eyewitnesses said, a youth named Amit had borrowed money from two youths, Akash and Binny, and the latter were asking him to return.
When Amit could not return the money, the youths came to his house and gave him severe thrashing with rods, kicks and punches. One of the youths fired indiscriminately when others came to his rescue.
The assailant left in a hurry leaving their scooter behind. Police are on the hunt of the assailants. So far nobody has been arrested.
