Bangalore: The Bangalore university and department of technical education have has issued a circular “All those phones seized in exams by students for indulging in malpractice should be returned to students only after three months of announcement of results. The detailed address of the student has to be entered so that it can be returned safely after the period.”
This move has been taken as students are not taking the rule of not bringing cell phone during exam seriously. .
Earlier the students used to get back phones after a warning and only in serious cases, an inquiry was conducted.
