JEE Advanced 2017 Result was declared on Sunday on the official website of the entrance exam jeeadv.ac.in. The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2017 was held on May 21 and was conducted by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras. Qualified students can secure admission into the IITs and the Indian School of Mines (ISM) for Bachelor's, Integrated Master's or Bachelor-Master Dual Degree courses in Engineering, Sciences, Architecture, or Pharmaceutics.

There are over 11,000 seats available in the 23 IITs across the country.

Over 1.7 lakh candidates, who cleared the JEE (Main) exam, had registered and appeared in the JEE-(Advanced) exam Paper 1 and Paper 2. Over 11.8 lakh students appeared for the JEE (Main) examination, or the first round. 

The answer keys of the exam were released on June 4. This year, the all students will be awarded 11 bonus marks for three ‘ambiguous’ questions that were asked in the JEE (Advanced) paper. Students can check the answer keys on website jeeadv.ac.in. 

Steps to check JEE Advanced 2017 Exam Results:

1. Visit the official website of JEE-Advanced at jeeadv.ac.in

2. Click on the link ‘Result of JEE (ADV) 2017’

3. Now enter the details in the required fields

4. Click submit to view your Results

5. See your results and rank lists

6. Take a printout of the results for future reference

There will be seven rounds of seat allotment sessrions to ensure that every seat in all the IITs is filled this year, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has said.  First round will be conducted on June 28. 

Last year, 73 of 9660 seats remained vacant even after six rounds instead of the usual two.
