Bihar Board Result 2017 Declared: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will give grace marks to those students who have failed in one or two subjects in the matriculation examination this year. All this mishap is giving rise to guesswork that the metric results for 2017 may be delayed further. Previous reports say- the result declared today at biharboard.ac.in. Now it is a dicey situation for the board to release the result tomorrow, because of new evolution.
After state government approval the commitment of grace marks is concluded. The commitment has been taken after an alarming number of students filed in intermediate exam results which were announced on May 30. There is a graph of only 30.11 per cent students who were managed to pass in the intermediate exams in science stream. The pass percentage was not high in Arts stream either with only 37.1 per cent students passing the exam. The percentage was better for Commerce stream students, where 73.76 per cent students passed the exam.
In view of the intermediate result fiasco, the board has concluded to award 8 marks to students who fail in one subject and 4 marks in each subject to those who fail in two subjects as grace marks.
A proposal of grace marks has been sent to the chief secretary of state education Department on June 14.It is now expected that the result will be prepared anew by awarding grace marks to students which may delay the result further. Any official confirmation from the board is awaited.
Reports say- Almost, “14, 86,903 candidates had registered for Class 10 examination”.
