Police have recovered weapons from their possession.

The Jammu and Kashmir Police today apprehended two terrorists involved in an attack on Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) personnel in Jammu's Banihal.

Police have recovered two service rifles, including an AK assault rifle and an Insas rifle, which were snatched during the attack, from their possession.

"The two militants, Gazanfer and Arif, involved in the terror attack were arrested and the hunt for a third terrorist is on. Two weapons were also recovered," the police added.

The development comes just two days after a head constable of SSB was martyred by the militants. The militants fled with two rifles of the SSB personnel after the attack at the camp of the paramilitary force outside an 8.5 km-long under-construction tunnel connecting Banihal town in Jammu province with Kulgam district's Qazigund, the gateway to the Kashmir Valley.
