New Delhi: Idli is one of the most eatable South Indian food among people all over the nation. We often eat idli with sambar and coconut chutney. But here we bring to you a new recipe of idli in a 'Cocktail' style. Masala Cocktail Idli can be added as an evening snack to make your interval delightful and tasty. 

Ingredients:

4 Big Idlis, 3-4 tbsp Idli Podi, a sprig of Curry leaves, 1 tsp Urad dal, 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds, Salt to taste, 2 tbsp Sesame oil or Ghee

Procedure:

1. Take cooled idlis and cut them in 8-9 pieces in a cubic shape.

2. Heat oil or ghee in a hot kadai and then crackle mustard seeds.

3. Add urad dal,curry leaves and fry until the urad dal turns light brown.

4. Add idli podi and a pinch of salt then mix it well. ( Idli podi also consists of some amount of salt so for a balance taste use only one pinch)

5. Add idli pieces in the kadai and mix them until the mixture gets dry.

6. Saute for 1-2 mins.

Masala Cocktail Idli is ready to eat with softdrinks or beverage of your choice. You can present them beautifully by perforating with tooth picks which definitely make your kids tempting towards the dish.
