Last night the country experienced a furious performance by the Indian cricket’s comeback king, Yuvraj Singh. Yuvi scored the fastest fifty in IPL, by making 62 runs from 27 balls and brought glory to the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the event opening.
But something went unnoticed amidst his batting glories. Apart from Yuvraj’s power packed performance in the field, his new hairstyle is something that caught our attention. During the post-match presentation, when Yuvraj came up on the stage, Manjrekar started the presentation in a gimmicky way.
“I have to start with your hairstyle tonight, if you don’t mind. This is interesting, something new?”
Owing to his quick-wit, Yuvraj replied, “Every IPL you gotta bring something new. I think you learn from the youngsters. So, again hopefully it works well for me.”
It won’t be overstatement to say that Yuvraj Singh’s new hairstyle has created a buzz among the youngsters. He has clearly outdone Shikhar Dhawan’s hairstyle that created an equal sensation last year.
Every year, IPL brings a lot of stories to contemplate about. And among those, the style statements of our beloved crickets cannot be overlooked. While they attract millions of fans for their outstanding performance on the cricket pitch, many cricket-crazy people follow them for their fashion.
Virat Kohli along with Shikhar Dhawan, Andre Russel, Chris Gayle and other prominent faces of the cricket world have redefined sports fashion sense. And this IPL, Yuvraj Singh has surely made headlines for his ‘Hatke’ hairstyle at the event opener.
Have a look at some of the pictures from the event last night. Yuvraj Singh managed to grab a lot of eyeballs for his fiery batting and of course, his new hairstyle.
On a batting beauty, Yuvraj helped SRH to win the match with flying colours and scored the fastest fifty in IPL.
