In Bigg Boss, contestants fight hard to become the captain of the house. The latest season of the reality show had Vikas Gupta as its first captain. With each passing week, many names came forward but one of the toughest and sensible contenders, Hiten Tejwani, has not become the captain till now. It’s not that he didn’t get the chance but seems like luck didn’t work in his favour. Few weeks ago, he fought the battle with Puneesh Sharma and Benafsha Soonawalla but Puneesh won the task.

In the last episode of Bigg Boss 11, Vikas  kicked Hiten’s picture and eliminated him from the race of captaincy with heavy heart and made Bandgi Kalra the contender. In Weekend Ka Vaar episodes, Salman Khan was often seen criticising housemates for their choices. It was being said that captaincy has become the strategy for the contestants to save themselves from the eviction.

Hiten has always stayed away from controversies and shares a great bond with every housemate. In fact, Priyank Sharma shaved his head off to save him from eviction. It goes without saying that Hiten will prove to be a fantastic captain.

On a related note, this time, Sapna Choudhary, Hina Khan and Benafsha Soonawalla have been nominated.
