New Delhi: A major fire broke on the sets of EKta Kapoor's Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.
According to the recent news, the Killick Nixon studio in Chandivili caught fire. However, the actors present on the set managed to escape in time, but the set was damaged. 12 fire brigade vans reached the spot.
The cast and crew of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein were shooting an important party sequence there since morning.
As per quoted by a daily actress Divyanka Tripathi who plays the lead role in the show, confirmed the news and said “Yes, unfortunately a huge fire broke down on our set. There is a Bhallas house, shown as my in-laws house, that portion has been damaged completely. We were shooting for a party sequence and such incident happened. Luckily, everyone including the artists and the crew members are safe.”
As per reports about eight fire engines, six water tankers rushed to the studio after getting the news.
The cause of the fire is not yet determined, but reports suggest that fire crackers lit on the terrace of the building were probably the reason behind the fire.
It seems the Bhalla house where most of the YHM shoot takes place has completely been damaged.
No causalities have been declared yet. Apparently, Ekta Kapoor's popular shows Pavitra Rishta, YHM and Kumkum Bhagya are shot in this studio at Andheri East.
We hope that no one is injured in the fire but the set is completely damaged.
