New Delhi: Actress Urvashi Rautela, who made her acting debut with ‘Singh Saab The Great' opposite Sunny Deol, was intercepted at Mumbai airport this morning when she arrived from Dubai. The model turned actress was flying in Jet Airways flight number 579.
Custom officers at the airport stopped her and found that she was in possession of dutiable goods worth Rs 3.5 lakhs and diamond studded gold jewellery worth Rs 8 lakhs. She didn't declare this to the customs and was hence detained.
The total amount of goods comes out to approximately Rs 11.5 lakhs. The incident occurred at 10 am this morning and the case is under investigation.
Urvashi Rautela had won the I Am She – Miss Universe India in 2012 but was dethroned from crown due to a controversy over her age. Apart from her debut, she was seen in Yo Yo Honey Singh's song “Lovedose.” She was recently in the news when she was finalised as one of the actresses of the movie ‘Great Grand Masti' which is the third instalment of the ‘Masti' series.
