Mumbai, Oct 2: Suresh and Vernon Group, which won the third season of reality show ‘India's Got Talent', aspires to fulfill their dream of taking part in the world hip-hop championships, besides donning the hat of Bollywood choreographers.
Suresh and Vernon Group are best known for hip-hop dance. They took everyone by surprise by their electrifying dance steps and dangerous stunts.
“This show gave us the platform, an identity and a tag to reach out to more people and also fulfill our long cherished dream of taking part in the world Hip-Hop dance championship that takes place in Las Vegas every year,” Suresh Mukund, told PTI in an interview.
The group comprises youngsters from the age group of 21-24 years, mainly from the Vasai-Virar slum area of the city.
“We try to support our group in whatever way we can. Vernon and I do all the promotional work and other activities for the group on our own,” Suresh said.
“We do lot of corporate shows. We also want to follow our vision of doing choreography for Bollywood films. In the film industry duo likes Bosco-Ceaser (choreographers) and others have made a name for themselves and we would like to reach that level soon,” he added.
At the grand finale, the group was pitted against magician Kuddroli Ganesh from Mangalore, young Salsa dancers-‘BAD Salsa' from Kolkata, painter Vilas Naik from Bangalore, Hip-Hop dancer Sanjay Dhaka from Jaipur and spiritual rock band ‘Madhavas Group' from Chandigarh.
The third season of the show, which intends to showcase India's talent in singing, music, dance, impersonation, puppetry and illusion, was judged by actor Dharmendra, actresses Sonali Bendre and Kirron Kher. Actor Shahrukh Khan was present at the grand finale. PTI
