New Delhi: Actress Sunny Leone is about to play a superwoman character in her upcoming movie. The actress, who is known for her sensual avatar, will be saving lives in her next film, giving stiff competition to superstars Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan.

Another similarity between Sunny and the other stars who have essayed superheros is that this movie will be Sunny's home production. Krrish and Ra.One were produced by family members of Hrithik and Shah Rukh respectively.

Sunny Leone will be launching her own banner in India along with husband Daniel Weber. The couple have a production base in Los Angeles but the Indian version of it will be totally different and will have a new name.

According to insiders in the industry, the couple have wrapped up the pre-production of the superhero drama where Sunny will be the protagonist. "It's a super badass character!" she said.

Giving more information on the movie, she added, “We shoot first, with me in an eyeball-grabbing superhero outfit, a bright cape and special powers. Then, we bring out a comic book series revolving around my character as well as other merchandise. We are spinning the story from scratch - from the superwoman's back-end story to how she came to possess her powers, like they do in the Marvel cinematic universe. It's something Bollywood has not fully explored.”

When asked if she would be flying in the movie, Sunny chose to keep that information to herself. “I love the Samurais, they are the real superheroes. And Daniel enjoys Batman because of his dark and dangerous past and evolutionary storyline,” she told a leading daily.

Asked if he would be a part of the movie, Daniel answered, “Have you heard of the Canadian comic series, Where's Waldo? Well! I'm Wally in this film, the character who shows up everywhere and is a part of everything.”

Sunny's fans would surely be excited to see this shade of her. The movie begins shooting in Mumbai next month and parts of it will also be shot in the US.
