Much publicised Sunil Grover aka 'Gutthi's ' show 'Mad In India' aired on Star Plus is all set to go off air within a few months of its launch.
Sunil Grover along with Tusshar Kapoor shot the last episode on April 18th. The show ends due audience's lukewarm response and low TRP. The show was earlier conceptualised for 26 episodes, but due to its poor TRP, it has been reduced to 13 episodes.
Chunkey Pandey who had just made his entry on the show too confirms it. He says, “Yes, I shot the last episode. Everything has its own destiny and this too had its own share. The show had picked up very well in the last two weeks. I have enjoyed a lot, but it failed to make audience laugh. This show could have done much better if given more chance. But finally adieu for Gutthi's show . ”
Comedian Sunil Grover started the show after quitting Kapil Sharma's 'Comedy Nights with Kapil'. The show started with bang but didn't stand on the audience expectations.
The show has been in controversies from starting and recently host Manish Paul too quit the show as he was not happy with his on-screen timing.
The last episode will be on aired on May 4.
