Mumbai: Shahid Kapoor's rumored bride-to-be Mira Rajput still wants to cling on to her privacy and has reportedly started deleting friends from her Facebook account.
Soon after the news broke out that Shahid Kapoor is engaged to a Delhi girl Mira Rajput, her account flooded with friend request. Both families still wanted to keep the news under the wrap but apparently, Rajput confided in a few close friends about the news, but one of them leaked it to the media.
Now she is wary about other personal details being leaked. A news channel quoted a source close to the Rajput family as saying, "Mira is a college student and her parents have been getting tense about her engagement with Shahid going public. She had confided in a few friends about dating the actor, but one of them may have leaked it to the media. She is upset about it and unfriending some of them from her online account.”
Apparently, Mira is a third year Hons. student at Lady Shri Ram College.
Since the Rajputs have no Bollywood connection, they have asked their near and dear ones to purse their lips about the wedding, which, according to Shahid, is likely to be held this December. "They don't want unnecessary media attention and are maintaining a low profile at the moment," the source adds.
Recently, Haider star confirmed the news of her engagement and said, “Happy to announce it.”
“I am not engaged, but what you have been reading is kind of true. Marriage is on the cards sometimes towards the end of the year and I think that's all I can say,” Shahid had said.
