Mumbai, Jun 20 :  Actress Shahana Goswami, who is shooting for Madhur Bhandarkar's film ‘Heroine', says, she was excited and a bit nervous working with co-star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.


“Just gave my first shot with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for Bhandarkar's film! Came nervous but am at ease now thanks to both of them! Fun!,” Shahana said on micro-blogging site Twitter.

The 25-year-old actress, who was last seen alongside Abhishek Bachchan in ‘Game', will be seen alongside Aishwarya in Bhandarkar's much awaited film ‘Heroine'.

“Can't talk about my role but its very exciting and am very happy to be working with Madhur Bhandarkar! Ash is a sweetheart, always been,” Shahana said.

‘Heroine' has Aishwarya playing the central character of a once successful film actress Mahi Khanna, whose career is on the decline. The movie is a contemporary film which reveals the underbelly of the movie industry and its well-kept secrets.

Shahana, who made her entry into Bollywood in Naseeruddin Shah's directorial debut ‘Yun Hota Toh Kya Hota' but she shot to fame with her role in ‘Rock On'.

The actress will be seen next alongside Shahrukh Khan in ‘Ra.One'. Her first international project is Deepa Mehta's ‘Winds of Change', an adaptation of Salman Rushdie's Booker Prize winning novel Midnight's Children. The film is expected to release in 2012. PTI
