New Delhi: After taking a break of 6 years Suraj Barjatya is coming back with his ‘Prem'.
Suraj Barjatya and Salman Khan's collaboration of family drama established Dabangg khan as an actor in Bollywood. In return Salman gave Suraj back to back hits. It is like the director is incomplete without Salman. All the films Suraj made without Salman were unsuccessful except Vivah. Famous for naming his lead protagonist Prem, Suraj Barjatya is directing Salman again in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
Salman is playing a double role of twin brothers in the film. One role is of a prince and another is of a common man. Some pictures on the sets of ‘Prem Rartan Dhan Payo' were revealed. The turban and gold studs are looking quite princely on Salman.
Not much is known about the plot but it is being predicted that Neil Nitin Mukesh will be playing brother to Prince ‘Prem' and the lead antagonist. Neil who is sporting beards these days was spotted wearing studs on the sets.
Sonam Kapoor will be essaying the role of a princess and love interst of Salman Khan. A picture of Sonam Kapoor riding an elephant was recently leaked. Sonam has ditched designer suits and was seen cladding Sari for her princess appearance.
Swara Bhaskar who got a great deal of appreciation for playing the role of Bindiya in Raanjhna also bagged an important role in the film which for now remains unknown.
Anupam Kher, Armaan Kohli, Deepak Dobriyal and Sanjay Mishra will also be seen in supporting roles.
What is surprising that Alok Nath is missing from the cast of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Popular for playing ideal father, Alok Nath has been in all the films of Suraj Barjatya except ‘Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon'.
It will be quite interesting to see Salman again in a family drama playing a family man after seeing him fighting with bad guys in the last few films.
The shooting for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has already started in June this year. Suraj Barjatya is planning to release the the film in mid 2015.
