New Delhi: Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty have planned a joint venture with the remake of 1989 blockbuster, Ram Lakhan.
The announcement was brought in by the official Dharma Productions page on Twitter as they posted, “Here's the big announcement! Rohit Shetty & Karan Johar, in association with Mukta Arts, present RAM LAKHAN in 2016.”
Now since the cinematic maestros of ultimate action and heart whelming romance are coming together, the speculations regarding the cast are taking over the buzz.
While many are claiming that it will be Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra as the coveted ‘Ram and Lakhan' in the film, we tell you the two most apt names fitting the moulds perfectly. The 2016 film might see our very own Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor spilling the magic of their popular romance as Ram and Lakhan.
Undoubtedly, no other Bollywood male friends share camaraderie as great as these both do. Moreover, for all those who remember the entertaining episode of Koffee With Karan 4, where both Ranveer and Arjun arrived; the talks regarding ‘Ram Lakhan' started making the room.
Shanoo Sharma, who works closely as casting director with Karan Johar even elaborated around how she asked Ranveer Singh to act after watching him grooving on ‘Ram Lakhan' tracks like he owns the party and the floor.
And Arjun Kapoor, who got his first auditioned passed with a bang because he perfectly imitated his uncle Anil Kapoor definitely makes a deadly pair with Ranveer Singh in Bollywood. After all both are the only ‘Gundays' of Bollywood!
