Yeh Hai Mohabbatein gets twist with new male lead opposite Ishita aka Divyanka Tripathi
New Delhi: Yeh Hai Mohabbatein will soon witness a great twist in its storyline. The popular drama series is all set to introduce a new male lead opposite protagonist Ishita aka Divyanka Tripathi soon.According to a few media reports, TV actor Mrunal Jain, Aadesh Chowdhary and Eijaz Khan have been approached for the said character. However, there is no elaboration on how this new character is going to be like.
Of what seems to be, since Karan Patel aka Raman Bhalla is occupied with his pre-wedding days and other TV show offers, the makers are planning a tremendous U-turn.
'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' has carved itself as one of the successfully running shows on small screen currently. And while the show's producer Ekta Kapoor has short listed the above mentioned three names, the chances of Mrunal Jain coming-in seem a bit dicey.
In a report published in a leading entertainment portal, it has been reported that Mrunal is severely busy with 'Bandhan.' And therefore, would find it difficult to juggle between two popular shows at a time.
"Mrunal was keen on taking up the offer as Divyanka is one of the top actresses on TV right now as YHM is a huge hit and also returning to Ekta Kapoor's camp would have been homecoming for him. But it was highly impossible to shuttle between the two far-off sets," said a source close to the actor.
Well, we just wish that this unexpected addition paves for more interest in the storyline!
