New Delhi, May 13: Actress Chitrangada Singh has rubbished the reports of her divorce from her Indian professional golfer husband Jyoti Randhawa.
The disturbed actress took over the micro boggling website and articulated her heart out over the rumours surrounding her and her family.
“The papers have gotten me divorced some 10 times over in the past. It was a visit to the courts for an internal settlement of a property issue.
Personal lives should be left alone. There is little truth in the screaming headlines mostly. And the exciting versions of the truth survive” tweets Chitrangada Singh.
It was reported that 37-year old, Inkaar actress Chitrangada Singh has reportedly filed for divorce from Indian professional golfer husband Jyoti Randhawa.
According to a leading newspaper, they filed for a divorce by mutual approval at Gurgaon on Friday. They have been married since 2001.
When contacted, Chitrangada dismissed speculation over her divorce.
"It is not true. We were at the court for the property dispute, an internal settlement. And there were speculations because of that," Chitrangada told PTI.
As per rumoured reports, Chitrangada Singh had a troubled married life since long time but she always denied such speculations in the media. The couple has a son Zorawar Randhawa.
The dusky beauty and her golfer husband have hired lawyers from Delhi. As they both did not want to go this news in media.
It was reported that the hearing date has been fixed for November 11, as the family court asked the couple to think of settlement.
Chitrangada Singh was last seen in bollywood dud I, Me Aur Main with John Abraham. She was best known for films like Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi', ‘Yeh Saali Zindagi' and ‘Inkaar' and desi boyz.
Singh's husband Randhawa is a golf player, who was ranked in the top 100 of the Official World Golf Ranking several times between 2004 and 2009.
