New Delhi: Hrithik Roshan made his acting debut with ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai' and since then he has been appreciated in a number of films. He is one of the very few actors who have touched almost every genre of Bollywood.

 
One of the best dancer-actors Bollywood has ever produced, Hrithik has never been typecasted. And credit must be given to his acting skills and his ability to adapt in every character.
 
After making his debut with ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai', Hrithik has played characters ranging from an orphan to an emperor.  
 
Here's a list of different characters he has portrayed in his career spanning 15 years.


Orphan/singer
The character Hrithik played in his debut film ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai' was of an orphan and a singer. Hrithik impressed everyone with his acting and dancing skills in the film and garnered huge fan following. ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai' went on to become highest grossing film of the year 2000.


Terrorist
Hrithik played the role of a terrorist for two consecutive films ‘Fiza' and ‘Mission Kashmir'. Both of these films failed on box office but he succeeded in impressing the everyone with his acting skills.


Intellectually disabled person
One of the best performances of Hrithik's career is in ‘Koi Mil Gaya'. He played two characters in the film, one being of a young man with an IQ of child and another of cool super intelligent dude. Directed by Hrithik's father Rakesh Roshan, ‘Koi Mil Gaya' became a blockbuster earning a huge critical acclaim.


Army Officer
Farhan Akhtar directorial ‘Lakshya' failed to make any big mark on box office but it definitely earned huge appreciation by critics. Hrithik playing an army officer in the film impressed everyone with his acting. Now Lakshya is regarded as a cult classic.


Superhero
Often regarded as the first Indian superhero, Hrithik was seen flying, jumping and saving people in ‘Krrish' and ‘Krrish 3', the sequels of ‘Koi Mil Gaya'. Both the films were blockbusters making Hrithik a popular ‘superhero.'
