New Delhi: The 60th edition of one of the coveted award ceremonies in India Cinema, Filmfare that took place last night witnessed mesmerizing star performances besides awards distribution to the deserving.

Actors namely Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Salman Khan among others enthralled the audience and set the stage on fire.

But on the other side, there were few candid moments too which were captured in the ceremony.

Ranbir Kapoor

The Kapoor scion however missed the red carpet but he opened the night with his act as he took the stage and danced to the tunes of Badtameez Dil and Balam Pichkari from his 2013 release ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani'.

Arjun Kapoor

The Tevar actor Arjun  Kapoor who also co-hosted the show stood different by giving an ode to the `contemporary superstars' namely Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn.

From his Tevar hit track ‘Main Toh Superman Salman ka fan' to special version like ‘Superman Shah Rukh ka fan', the actor gave a tribute to all these stars in his own innovative style.

Varun Dhawan

‘Badlapur' actor Varun Dhawan as a mark of respect to the jumping Jacks of the past decades, like Shammi Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty and Govinda, danced on their hit tracks. At last he danced on his Badlapur hit song ‘Jee karda'.

Besides the dancing act, what kept the audience entertained were some gimmicks by the host Karan Johar, Siddharth Malhotra, Kapil Sharma.

Deepika Padukone

Who could forget Salman Khan's skirt grabbing stint in ‘Jumme Ki Raat' track from ‘Kick'? This time he wasn't alone, in fact all three host joined him in reinventing the move and while in the actual song it was Jacqueline Fernandez, here we got Deepika Padukone allowing her beautiful white gown to be played with.
